These new generation of servers feature customer-inspired engineering built to optimise price-performance for the widest range of web, enterprise and hyperscale applications. The new Dell PowerEdge servers include the PowerEdge R730xd, the R730 and R630 rack servers, and completing the lineup are the M630 blade server and the T630 tower server, all of which are built with the latest Intel Xeon processor E5-2600 v3 processor family. Dell\u2019s new PowerEdge servers are designed to leverage modern storage technologies that enable customers to accelerate applications by bringing data<br \/>\ncloser to the processor for increased application performance. As an example, the R630 is capable of storing 1.8-inch SATA flash drives, and is capable of delivering 2.4 times more I\/O operations per second in the same amount of space as typical 2.5-inch SSDs. The R730xd meanwhile is capable of providing up to 100TB of storage for workloads such as Microsoft Exchange, where it delivers up to 50 percent increase in mailbox size over previous generation servers. The Dell PowerEdge servers were made with the concept of \u201cRack, Cable and Walk Away\u201d, and they\u2019ve also made it so that maintenance and updates can be done quickly, with reduced risk of downtime. Another noteworthy feature is the NFC reader on the R730, R730xd and the R630. This allows users to easily manage their servers by simply tapping their Androidbased smartphones onto the NFC tag, and with the OpenManage app, they are able to easily get the server\u2019s configuration, modify it on the spot, and upload the changes back to the server all in one go. The new PowerEdge servers also help businesses improve their profit margins by reducing cooling costs as the new servers are now capable of operating at much higher temperatures than their predecessors. The R730xd, R730 and R630 in particular can all run at temperatures up to 40 degrees Celcius.
