Here&#8217;s an example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code has-white-color has-black-background-color has-text-color has-background\"><code>docker system prune<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To remove stopped containers and all unused images (not just dangling images), you can use the -a flag in the command:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code has-white-color has-black-background-color has-text-color has-background\"><code>docker system prune -a<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-header-gradient-color has-text-color\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Remove_Docker_Images\"><\/span>Remove Docker Images<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To identify the ID of the images that you want to remove, use the &#8220;docker images&#8221; command with the -a flag. This command will display all the images, including intermediate image layers. Once you have located the images you want to delete, you can use their ID or tag with the &#8220;docker rmi&#8221; command to remove them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code has-white-color has-black-background-color has-text-color has-background\"><code>docker images -a<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code has-white-color has-black-background-color has-text-color has-background\"><code>docker rmi Img Img<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-header-gradient-color has-text-color\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Remove_dangling_images\"><\/span>Remove dangling images<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dangling images refer to image layers that are not associated with any tagged images.
