What is Webmin?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Webmin is a powerful and adaptable web-based server management control panel<\/a> for Unix-like operating systems. Webmin allows the user to configure operating system internals like users, disk quotas, services, and configuration files, as well as modify and control open-source apps like the Apache HTTP Server, PHP, and MySQL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The requirements<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Ubuntu 20.04 Server<\/li>
  2. Apache installed (Click here for the installation tutorial<\/a>)<\/li>
  3. A valid domain name that points to your server IP.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 1 – Update the server package index<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    sudo apt update<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n

    Step 2 – Install Webmin<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    Open your Ubuntu source list and add the following line at the end of the file<\/p>\n\n\n\n
    sudo nano \/etc\/apt\/sources.list\ndeb http:\/\/download.webmin.com\/download\/repository sarge contrib\n<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n

    Download the Webmin PGP key<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Update again the Ubuntu package index to include the Webmin repository<\/p>\n\n\n\n
